Pick up commits that have been collected for post-dunfell poky branches

Description

At the time of writing master is being tested with dunfell, which means we cannot put dunfell-incompatible changes into it. But we do not want to lose commits either.

Acceptance criteria:

  • Pick up the commits in meta-mender/master-next and adapt the branch to Yocto-3.5

  • Pick up the commits in mender-docs/master-next

Sorry, it is supposed to be yocto-3.5, it was a mistake. Yocto 3.5 is the first LTS release after dunfell, which are the ones we will support.

I see now that the "Fix version" of this task is yocto-3.5 while the description mentions yocto-3.3, so there must be a confusion somewhere.

I suggest renaming mender-docs/master-next to mender-docs/yocto-3.5 instead.

You mean yocto-3.3, right? I just checked the releases page and 3.3 is the next one we will support.

Assuming the above, I renamed now the branch to yocto-3.3 and deleted master-next

: I suggest renaming mender-docs/master-next to mender-docs/yocto-3.5 instead. It is still more than a year away, and unlike in meta-mender, the Yocto context is not clear in the mender-docs repository.
